Youth Justice residence opens new Sports Academy
Up to 10 young people at our youth justice residence Korowai Manaaki are taking part in the pilot Sports Academy. They'll be given a chance to push themselves in a 12-week programme based on sport, fitness and nutrition.

If you're a child or young person in care, you can connect with VOYCE – Whakarongo Mai. This is an independent advocacy service separate from Oranga Tamariki who can listen to and support you, and be on your side

The Practice Centre is an online resource aimed primarily at Oranga Tamariki practitioners.
It contains policy, guidance and tools to help us in our work with tamariki and rangatahi and their whānau. The policies are our must-dos, and the guidance are our how-tos.
Te Aorerekura: Strategy to eliminate family violence and sexual violence
Te Aorerekura is a national strategy. It aims to end family violence and sexual violence. To do so, action has been united across government to meet this goal.
